To store the Jam you Can them or use a water bath so that they stay fresh for a long time. However, since I make small batches, I don't use water baths. A clean jar always makes sure that your Jam stays fresh for a long time. Also, the sealing rings should be perfectly fitting.
It is very important that you store the hot jam in the jars and cover with the lid. Storing hot jams will make then stay fresh. How to Make Apple Jam in the Crockpot

To make your Cinnamon Spiced Apple Jam in the slow cooker, put butter along with sugar in a skillet. As the sugar melts, pour water and bring this mixture to a boil. Dump it in the slow cooker. Add the spices and Apples and cook for 8-10 hours. Stir occasionally in between. After about 10 hours, you can cook uncovered for 30 min on High. Cooking uncovered will evaporate all the water. You can blend the apples using an immersion blender however, I never use it. I like it just as it is. Pour the hot jam in sterile containers and cover with the lids.
