How to Make Halloween Pretzel Treats
- Line a Baking tray with parchment paper
Lining a baking tray with parchment paper is important. This will help you peel off your Halloween pretzel treats easily.
- Melt White Chocolate
Melt white chocolate or white candy melts in a bowl with coconut oil or melted butter. Don't overcook. You don't want to cook your chocolate. My ideal way to melt chocolate is microwaving it at 20-30 second bursts.

- Dip Pretzels in Melted Chocolate
Now dip pretzels in melted chocolate, one at a time. Use a fork to dip pretzels. Turn them over to coat both sides and shake off any excess.

- Shake out chocolate from the bottom hole
This is very important. You gotta shake out chocolate from the bottom hole so that it looks like an spooky open mouth. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Immediately Place Candy Eyeballs
Immediately Place Candy Eyeballs on the top two holes of Pretzel.

Hint: You have to work really fast. Melted White chocolate becomes hard at room temperature. So, if it does gets hardened, then just microwave it for another 10-20 seconds.
Fool-Proof Ways to Melt Chocolate in the Microwave
Melting white chocolate can be quite tricky, especially if you are new at it. But, it's not rocket science. Keep these things in mind.
- Make sure your chocolate is fresh and not old.
- Always use a glass bowl or a ceramic bowl to microwave chocolate.
- Microwave chocolate with coconut oil or melted water at 10-20 second bursts.
- Stir between each increment until smooth and creamy.
- Do Not overcook chocolate. After you've microwaved it, it might look like it is not melted. You might see few chunks of chocolate but, do not microwave it further. This is the most common mistakes that most of us make.
Substitutions

- 20 pieces mini pretzels
- 12 oz white candy melts
- ½ teaspoon coconut oil or melted butter
- 1 package (0.88 oz) candy eyeballs
INSTRUCTIONS
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- Melt white chocolate or white candy melts with coconut oil or melted butter in a glass bowl. Microwave for 10-20 second bursts until melted, stirring between each increment. It should be smooth and creamy. If you find it too thick, then you can thin it with 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil at a time.
- Dip pretzels in melted white chocolate, one at a time. Use a fork to turn them over and shake off any excess. Shake out white chocolate from the bottom hole so that it looks like an open mouth. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Immediately press candy eyeballs in the top two holes.
- Repeat this with the remaining pretzels. Remember that you have to work quickly because white chocolate hardens at room temperature. If your white chocolate has become hard microwave once again until smooth (if needed)
- Allow pretzel bites to harden. Freeze for 10-minutes so that they freeze quickly. Take them off the baking sheet and enjoy.
