Jack Skellington OREO Cookies - one of the easiest treats for Halloween that you can make in less than 30-minutes. Although, you need to give it some time in the refrigerator before you make the Jack Skellington. But, other than that, this recipe hardly takes much time.
I am literally so excited about Halloween this year. I think this will be the first time that I will be taking a breath of relief from the on-going turbulences.
Talking about Halloween, I keep thinking about this Halloween cooking contest which is about to happen in the next week here in my locality. It's just a small event with all the gals. But, in this small little down of mine, it is really a big thing. I really want to ace this competition. And, therefore I have been trying out some of the easiest Halloween treats.
And, talking about easy Halloween treats, I couldn't think of something easier than this. I am so excited to use them as a treat for my party. More than that, I am also thinking about this Halloween classroom party that is supposed to happen somewhere next week. (I am such a forgetful Mom, I don't remember the exact date)
But, I do remember that it is there. And, I am so competitive. Just like Monica from FRIENDS. I think I get this from my Mom. She always pushed me towards excellence.
Well, talking about this cute little Halloween treat, I know this is not some super-creative fancy dessert. But, I know that this easy dessert is something that all moms and dads out there can surely try. So, here I am sharing this with y'all.
You can make this even more amazing my actually using a lollipop stick and turning them into Jack Skellington OREO Pops.

How to Make Jack Skellington OREO Cookies?
You can make this recipe in just three basic steps:
- Melt White Candy melts in the oven at 30-second bursts. Bring it to a silky, smooth consistency. It should be at 28C or 82F at room temperature when completely melted.
- Freeze OREOS - Freeze these white chocolate covered OREOS in the freezer until the top is completely set.
3. Make Jack Skellingtons - Use edible food marker to make Jack Skellington on the Oreos.
How to Melt White Chocolate Perfectly?
- Melt white Chocolate Candy melts in the oven. Melt it at 30-second bursts. Keep stirring vigorously with a wooden spatula or a silicone spatula.
- Pop it in the oven and mix until it's smooth.
- Open the freezer and keep it there. Keep the door of the freezer open and keep whisking continuously. The cold air of the freezer will thin out the chocolate.
- The idea is to keep mixing the chocolate continuously so that it's smooth and silky.
What if the Marker has dried out?
- This has happened to me quite a few times. I was using the Wilton food marker and it had dried out completely. So I switched to Americolor Edible Food Marker. Trust me I am not being paid to promote this brand here.
