Flourless Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
Hey friends. Today I'll be sharing one of my absolute favorite Cookies recipe with y'all. Oatmeal Raisin Cookies are simple and nostalgic cookies.
I firmly believe that this one gives a tough competition to Chocolate Chips Cookies and Peanut Butter Cookies when it comes to old and nostalgic cookie recipes.
I just love my Oatmeal Raisin Cookies. Plus these are healthy and that's even better! The taste of Cashew Butter blends so well with the Oatmeal. The Raisins plump up after getting baked and the hint of sweetness due to Maple, and of course, that hint of Cinnamon, because this is exactly what makes my Oatmeal Raisin Cookies taste so good!
Flourless Cookies
When the thought of Flourless Cookies comes to our mind we generally think of Sugar Cookies which are extra soft and fudgy. However, since these are Oatmeal Raisin Cookies, I have just used Oatmeal Flour (which is basically just ground rolled oats) and that's it!
Oatmeal Flour helps give that much-required taste of Oats in these cookies and also works wonderfully as a Flour replacement in these Flourless Cookies!
Vegan Cookies
As much I am trying to incorporate plant-based recipes in my diet, I amaze myself with my recipes every single day. And that's such a great thing right!
These Vegan Cookies do not use eggs or butter or milk. Rather I have used Cashew Butter as a replacement. Creamy Cashew Butter works amazingly in holding the cookies together while they get baked and never spread in the oven
Also, I have used Plant-Based Milk just to combine everything together.
These Oatmeal Raisin Cookies might be vegan, gluten-free, and flourless, but they use only pantry ingredients. And that's such a relief, because more than most times when we think of healthy cookies, we think about hitting the store to get some healthier alternatives to replace the old, well, not always! You have some amazing ingredients right at home, which you can use to make perfectly healthy and delicious cookies for yourself.
Are these Oatmeal Raisin Cookies Healthy?
These Oatmeal Raisin Cookies are an oldie but are a favorite. The traditional recipe is made with flour, eggs, sugar, and loads of butter. It tastes so good but of course, it's not Healthy.
While, this one, uses a few replacements but tastes absolutely delicious!
The Cashew Butter works wonderfully in making the cookies moist, soft, and chewy. If you do not have Cashew Butter then use Almond butter or creamy Peanut Butter as a replacement.
The best part is, of course, those plump raisins that you get in every bite! mmmm....just the best!
Ingredients required to make Healthy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
- Oatmeal Flour - I have used ground Rolled Oats here. You can also use store-bought Oatmeal flour
- Cashew Butter - Creamy Cashew Butter is the best. I would not recommend you to swap homemade Cashew Butter with store-bought. Although, you can replace this with Creamy Peanut butter or Almond Butter
- Almond Milk - Or any Plant-Based milk can be used
- Raisins - Of course, the highlight of the show are Raisins
- Maple - You can replace it with any Keto sweetener for a Keto version
