They’re incredibly simple—just four ingredients—but they bring so much happiness. Whether I’m making them for my friends, handing them out to kids in my neighbourhood, or giving them as a little reward after an art workshop, these little truffles always bring smiles.
I run art workshops around Easter, and make Easter crafts for kids. So when the kids finish their projects, I love giving them these adorable chocolate-covered Easter egg truffles.
It’s my little way of celebrating their creativity and adding a bit of sweetness to the experience. There’s something special about seeing their faces light up when they take a bite—like a tiny taste of Easter magic!
What makes this recipe extra special is how easy and fuss-free it is. I use just four simple ingredients—Oreos, sweetened condensed milk, white chocolate, and dark chocolate—because I believe in keeping things effortless, especially during busy holidays.
With all the Easter preparations, I don’t always have time for complicated desserts, and this recipe is my go-to for a last-minute treat.
It comes together in no time, but the result is so rich and indulgent that no one would ever guess how simple it is!
The combination of crushed Oreos and sweetened condensed milk creates the most luscious, fudgy filling, which I shape into mini Easter eggs.
Then, I coat them in creamy white chocolate, giving them that beautiful smooth shell.
And finally, I drizzle them with melted dark chocolate, which not only makes them look extra festive but also adds the perfect contrast of flavors.
The best part? They look like little Easter eggs—perfect for baskets, dessert tables, or just as a sweet surprise for someone you love.

Another reason I love this recipe is that it’s perfect for making ahead. Once the truffles are frozen, they keep beautifully in an airtight, food-safe gift box for a long, long while.
That means I can prepare them in advance and always have a batch ready for unexpected guests, Easter parties, or to slip into little treat bags for the kids or Easter baskets for kids. For me Easter is all about cute Easter recipes.
They’re also great for gifting—just pop them into a pretty box or a small bag tied with a ribbon, and you have an instant homemade Easter present!
Easter is all about joy, sharing, and creating special memories over good food, Easter Brunch recipes, Easter Sides, Easter desserts, and these truffles capture all of that in one bite. Whether you’re making them for yourself, your family, or your community, they bring people together in the sweetest way possible.
And that’s why I love making them year after year—it’s not just about the chocolate (though that’s a big part of it!), but about the love and warmth that comes with sharing something homemade. So if you’re looking for a simple, delicious, and heartfelt treat this Easter, these Oreo truffles are just perfect.
You can even replace the dark chocolate with chocolate chips. It's just crushing the Oreos, mixing them with condensed milk, making small egg-shaped balls, freezing them, coating it in white chocolate and finally drizzling some dark chocolate over it.
Yes! It's that easy. I just described my whole recipe or in one single line. You can directly jump to the recipe if you want.
