Easy and Creamy Korean Whipped Coffee or Dalgona Coffee is one of the best coffee recipes you can make instantly. A creamy cloud of foamy coffee on top of cold milk is your gateway to the heavenly coffee heaven.
I love experimenting with my Coffee. It's one of those recipes which we make every day. What's the harm in adding some fun to it. After all, it's the little things that count right! Dalgona Coffee is a whipped coffee which is topped over cold or hot milk. It tastes milky and creamy. It's almost like a foamy latte. This is so easy recipe that I almost feel so stupid to write an article about it. 🙂
If you're at home and want to experiment in the kitchen, this is your best bet. Dalgona Coffee's origin not clear so far. Some people claim that it originated in Rajasthan while some believe it's actually a Korean recipe. Nevertheless, it's just so good that thinking about its origin is not the point here.
When you whip an equal quantity of sugar, coffee, and boiling water, what you get is a foamy beige-colored mixture. This is topped over the cold or hot milk and served. It's that easy. Make this and enjoy it with your family and friends.
The Dalgona Coffee has a toffee-like taste due to the equal proportion of sugar, coffee, and water in it. Also, the beige color is just so calming right! I have tried it so many times and it comes out so perfect. You can use a handheld mixer to beat the coffee-sugar-water mix. However, be careful as the mixture will be hot. You can cool it down a little and then whip it. You need to whip it until you get a smooth, creamy and cloudy foam. I generally add some ice cubes to the milk and then add the coffee cloud over it. It's so amazing.
