If vegetarianism would be so delicious then I am ready to give up meat today. Vegetarian Meatballs or as popularly called - "Meatless Meatballs" is a perfect recipe to cheer up a crowd, or lift up your mood or maybe serve during festivals.

To make them I have used a lot of veggies along with some wheat flour and cornflour.

So, it's been raining for quite some time here. And, I am enjoying the cool breeze gushing onto my face with little splashes of rainwater. In my mind, I was thinking of a recipe.

A recipe that suits my mood. A recipe that feels just right on a rainy summer evening like today. And, I thought of having meatballs with spaghetti.

You know how you get a craving to eat something out of no-where? Well, I guess I was experiencing that.

I love this part of my cooking journey when I have a faint idea in my mind and I am opening my fridge to check the ingredients which I have got with me. Within me, I am bubbling with excitement. It's like I have already seen it in my mind, and I want to quickly rush to the last part where I am done with the cooking and digging into it.

SO, Let's Make Some Vegetarian Meatballs

Sadly, I couldn't find meat. But, that's ok! I am gonna make Vegetarian meatballs and I promise you will love every bit of it.

To make the Meatballs, pulse the Carrots and Cabbage in a food processor. If you have more veggies such as green beans you can add that too. It totally depends on you as to what veggies you'd want to use. There are no set rules here.

Next, to the grated veggies add Whole Wheat flour, Salt, Chili Powder, Garlic Cloves, Cornflour, and Panko Breadcrumbs. Use your hands to mix it real nicely with all the brilliant ingredients. Let all the veggies and flour show their magic.

Now, make cute balls with your hands and get your Saucepan ready with some vegetable oil.

Let's take our vegetarian meatballs for a sizzling and delightful trip in the pan with piping hot oil. Give them some time so that they develop a beautiful crusty coating all around them

I know your tastebuds will be asking you to grab one of them right away. But wait! We got much more deliciousness on the way 🙂

In the same Pan, let's make our sauce. Add some broken dried red chilies and let it's smoky spiciness create a brilliant texture in your oil. Add some Mustard seeds along with Sesame Seeds. Allow these two to sizzle and do all kinds of bubbly magic in the pan.

Use your spatula to stir them well and create a beautiful bonding in the Pan.

Time to spice up the heat my friend 🙂

Let's get our chopped garlic cloves ready for a swing into the Pan. Next in line we have our Peppers and Onions along with some slit green chilis ready to go in and create a round of deliciousness. As long as they get bonded well with other spices, let's make the sauce quickly.

Let's bring our favourite old tangy friend - Tomato Ketchup and pour it in a bowl. Into that we'll add our green-y spicy friend; Chili Sauce and Mr. Soy Sauce. Then goes a tablespoon of Vinegar, along with some Cornstarch, Pepper and brown sugar. Grab your spoon and mix them into a thick slurry.

Add it in your Pan and toss with the Veggies. Mix well. Add some water if you will and finally at your Meatless Meatballs into the Pan.

For seasoning you can sprinkle some toasted sesame seeds and freshly chopped cilantro.

And there you go! Your Meatless Meatballs or Vegetarian Meatballs are ready. I know you're dying to have them. So, grab a spoon and have it right away.
