These taste just like our favorite Sugar cookies. Crusty and Buttery on the outside, while they are chewy n the inside. The Almond slice gets toasted after it gets baked and tastes delicious. Also, the hint of that red candy melt is what makes these Sugar cookies, taste even good.
In fact, I love to dip mine in more of these Red Candy Melts and enjoy them. 😋😋

Nancy says
I just made these and though they’re very tasty they did t hold their shape and fell apart when I picked one up. Any idea what I did wrong?
Anjali says
This is because you might have added too much flour. As a result the cookie turned dry and they've crumbled. Or You might have overworked the cookie dough. Overworking the cookie dough makes the cookie dry and therefore they fall apart easy. Hope this helps.
In case you want to fix a broken cookie, just touch the broken parts together and heat in the oven. They might get fixed.
Or you might even coat them in melted candy melts and freeze until it holds shape.
