About the Lentil
I have used Brown Lentil for this recipe. Brown Lentil is considered to be extremely healthy and is the best choice for this Bolognese sauce. It's got amazing flavors which are just so good. However, you can swap this with Green Lentil or Black Lentil, because these two are equally healthy and works wonderfully with this recipe. Have you tried my Brown Lentil Soup?
However, if you are using Red Lentils or Yellow Lentils, then cook those for less time. Red Lentil cooks very quickly and also it digests easier. However, you end up with a sauce that is mushy. If you like a Mushy Bolognese sauce, you can use Red Lentil for this recipe.
