I am sure you have tried Nando's Peri Peri Sauce. It's the world's most popular brand selling Peri Peri Sauce. Well, my recipe makes for a brilliant one and is just so good.

If you want to make the best Peri Peri Sauce ever, then you should use African Bird's Eye Chilis. It's not only spicy, but its heat really zests up the flavors of this Peri Peri Sauce. It's just something totally amazing!

Bird's Eye Chilis are long, dried Red Chilis. These are dried and used for making the Peri Peri sauce because the dried Chilis are hotter and blend well with other spices. African spices are really amazing and something we all love and are curious about. And this Peri Peri sauce is no exception. Its fiery taste and chunky texture go perfectly with grilled food and have turned out to be a favorite for all.

  • Dried Red Bird's Eye Chilis
  • Garlic
  • Chopped Cilantro
  • Red Pepper Flake
  • Lemon Juice
  • Olive Oil

  • Blend all ingredients in a jar until combined with a smooth paste. You can also keep it a little course and keep your source chunky.
  • Take it out in a clean and sanitized jar. Cover and refrigerate until you use it.

How to store Peri Peri Sauce

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lbs Dried Red Bird Eye's Chilis 450gms
  • 8 cloves Garlic
  • ½ cup Cilantro chopped (or parsley or basil)
  • 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes or Smoked Paprika or Any other Chili Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice juice from 1 lemon
  • ½ cup Olive Oil or vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste
