The zesty and zingy Chimichurri Sauce is the perfect marinade for Grilled Chicken or Grilled Meat. It just brings out the flavors fo well. Generally, this is blended in the food processor however you can obviously just finely chop up everything and mix with olive oil and red wine vinegar to make Chimichurri without the food processor.

However, marinating the Chicken or Steaks with Chimichurri is surely not a part of Argentitnian cuisine. Its an American way to do the same and its also such a popular way today. Because its so so so good.

What does Chimichurri Sauce Taste like?
Chimichurri Sauce has a sharp, bold, and spicy taste. It's a bit tarty because of Red Wine Vinegar and Lemon Juice. Also, it's obviously spicy because of Fresno Chili and Garlic. I also like the herby taste of Chimichurri because of Oregano!!!

Ingredients needed to make Grilled Chimichurri Chicken
- Chimichurri Sauce
- Chicken Breasts
- Salt & Pepper
- Chopped Parsley (to garnish)
How to make Grilled Chimichurri Chicken
STEP 1: Marinate the Chicken
- Season both the sides of the Chicken Breast with salt and pepper
- Smear Chimichurri sauce over the chicken breasts
- Place in a ziplock bag and allow to marinate for 2 hours

STEP 2: Grill the Chicken
- Spray cooking oil on the grill
- Remove chicken from the marinade and place on the grill
- Grill the chicken pieces for 4-5 minutes per side.
- Use a meat thermometer to measure the internal temperature of the chicken. If it reads 165°F, your Chicken is grilled to perfection.

STEP 3: Garnish and Serve
- Garnish with some more chopped Parsley and serve immediately.

Tips to make the best Grilled Chimichurri Chicken
- This Grilled Chimichurri Chicken can be made in an indoor grill or outdoor grill or in the grill pan.
- You can also make Grilled Chimichurri Chicken in the oven
- Do not flip the chicken for 4-5 minutes. Flipping will not give you proper charred marks.
- Allow the Chicken to Marinate for at least 2 hours so that it soaks in all the flavors of Chimichurri Sauce
- You can also leave the Chicken in the resealable bag in the marinade in the refrigerator overnight. Marinating Overnight is the ideal way to do it. It's going to flavor the Chicken to perfection.
How to make Grilled Chimichurri Chicken ahead of time?
Chimichurri Chicken makes for an excellent Meal Prep Recipe. You can marinate the chicken with seasoning and chimichurri sauce and store it in a freezer-friendly bag in the freezer for 3-4 days. You can thaw it overnight in the refrigerator and then grill it before serving.

- Grill Pan
Ingredients
- 1 lbs Chicken Breasts boneless, skinless, pounded
- 2 tablespoon Chimichurri Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Olive Oil to brush over Grill
Instructions
- Season Chicken Breasts with Salt, Pepper, Paprika and Garlic Powder. Also, add Chimichurri Sauce over the Chicken. Smear it with a spoon on both sides. Place in a resealable bag. Refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight.
- Heat an outdoor or Indoor grill or a grill pan. Brush some oil over it. Place the Chicken Breasts on it and Grill for 3-5 minutes per side.
- Serve these Grilled Chimichurri Chicken with Chimichurri Sauce.
