The Veggies for this Asian Cucumber salad

Ideally, this salad is made with just cucumber or cucumber and red onions. However, I took the liberty of adding some Tomatoes as well. It tastes so good with Cucumber and Red Onions and looks very colorful.
Cucumber: Cucumber is an essential part of this salad. You can use English Cucumber. However, if you are using those, then you do not need to peel off the skin of the Cucumber. And you cut circles, and then you half them. English Cucumber has a firm texture and goes very well with this salad.
Red Onions: This Cucumber Salad is just incomplete without Red Onions. Red Onions add a sweetness to this recipe and also bring in a wonderful crunch. Moreover, Red Onions are a staple for every Cucumber salad recipe, especially in Asia.
Tomatoes: Tomatoes bring in a sourness to this salad. Also, Tomatoes are a rich source of Vitamin C. It helps improve your appetite. Of course, Tomatoes taste brilliant in this Asian Cucumber Red Onion Salad.
The Garlic Vinegar Dressing
The dressing for this salad is actually my own recipe. I developed this recipe over the years based on taste and texture. This Dressing tastes sweet and spicy. There is sweetness because almost all Asian dressings are generally sweet.
However, the garlic and the Red Chili Flakes bring in a nice spiciness to the dressing. The Rice Vinegar brings a unique flavor to this dressing. The best part is the Sesame seeds which improve the overall texture of this salad and make it taste nutty.

First, gather your veggies and chop them out. Chop the Cucumber into circles. The Red Onions into half-moons and the Tomatoes into dice.
Next, to make the dressing, in a mixing bowl, add minced garlic, Sourcream, Mayonnaise, Rice Vinegar, Granulated Sugar, Salt, Sesame Seeds, and Red Chili Flakes.
Mix it well and keep it aside.
Drizzle this dressing over the veggies and mix well until combined.
Add some Black Olives and lemon juice to your salad and mix well.
Finally, add some more sesame seeds, red chili flakes, and chopped cilantro and serve.
Let's talk taste:

This salad has a sweet and spicy taste. Also, there is an after flavor of a nut which is due to the sesame seeds. I like to have this salad with Steak dinner or with any Asian or Indian dinner recipes as a side dish. It gives the required refreshment when you are having a spicy curry or noodles.
