How to decorate your classroom doors for Thanksgiving?
There are so many ideas here. You can use paper plates to write names of kids and stick them around a paper cut out Turkey template. Or you can use feather cut out and write kids names on it and stick around a printed paper turkey for the door.
Besides all of this you can do some more fun activities like gather the kids in an art class and get them to give their hand prints on a paper. Now cut them out and use them to make the feathers of a Turkey. You can easily get a template for Turkey, print it out and paint it or use brown colored paper and glue over it.
Besides this another amazing idea would be to use paper plates and stick pumpkin pie photos on it, get the kids to write their names on it and stick them to the door with letters around it like - As Sweet as A Pumpkin Pie! Its such a creative and amazing process.

You can have your students write down things they’re thankful for on colorful paper leaves and then stick them to a big tree shape on the bulletin board. It’s a wonderful way to give each child a chance to share something personal, and it creates a beautiful, vibrant display. The warm shades of orange, red, and yellow really bring that cozy, autumn feeling to life.
Another idea that always sparks excitement is creating a “Cornucopia of Thanks.” You could use a large cornucopia image as the focal point and fill it with paper fruits or vegetables that symbolize things your students are grateful for. What I love about this is how interactive it is—students can even decorate their own "fruit" with something they personally appreciate, whether it’s family, food, or friendship. To make it even more special, try adding a 3D element to your cornucopia using folded paper or fabric for extra texture.
