Refreshing Cucumber Mint Smoothie with Flaxseeds

Cucumber Mint Smoothie with flaxseeds and Yogurt is a healthy and refreshing smoothie recipe. This easy and quick smoothie is unlike your typical green smoothie. This has a refreshing freshness to it and is the perfect start to a summer day.

Cucumber Mint Smoothie is one of my go-to summertime smoothie recipes. It's so filling and so refreshing. Waking up on a hot summer day and a glass of this green smoothie instantly gets me energized.

A VIDEO TUTORIAL 🙂

Also, this is not your typical green smoothie. There is no taste of spinach.

Actually, this Smoothie gets this dark green coloring due to the skin of the Cucumber which I have used while making the smoothie and also because of some fresh Mint leaves.

This smoothie literally needs just 4 ingredients which are almost always present in the fridge.

You need a batch of English Cucumbers, some lime juice, some ginger, and of course some Mint leaves.

Minus the Yogurt and this is a perfect detox drink.

You can make it and keep it in the fridge overnight and sip it all day for the next day. This will flush out all the dirt and toxins out of your system, keeping you healthy and happy!

Cucumber is one of the healthiest summer veggies which you should consume a lot. It's great for your Liver and helps your digestion.

Also, it's perfect to keep you hydrated for the hot summer months.

Here are the steps

Making this smoothie is so easy. First, take a Cucumber and chop it. You don't have to peel the skin, just cut small circles with the skin.

Next, add some Chopped Ginger and mint leaves to it.

Next, add some flax seeds to it.

Finally add some Yogurt, Salt, and Pepper and give it a quick mix until your smoothie is ready.

Serve it over some ice cubes.

So, that's how you make a quick and refreshing summer drink! It's so easy and so exciting!

Why Flaxseeds?

Well, flaxseeds are surely perfect for this smoothie because it improves the texture and also adds a nice nutty taste to the drink. Also its full of proteins

Does this Cucumber Smoothie helps in weightloss?

Yes! Have a glass of this in the morning or for lunch and it will make you feel so full, allowing you to cut out on carbs.

Hence it helps you in staying healthy and lose weight.

Other possible variations to this Cucumber Mint Smoothie recipe

  • You can skip out on Yogurt and use Coconut Cream
  • If you are making with water, then you need to store this drink at least for 5-6 hours in the refrigerator, before you can have it.
  • This is also like a flush drink which you can have after a party or after you've had something heavy for dinner.
  • This drink will help in digestion and is also really refreshing!
  • You can add Spinach and Pineapple to this smoothie to make it even yummier. Spinach adds a huge amount of nutrients in any smoothie so it's perfect. But be sure to blend it real nice before you use it or else, you'll get it between your teeth. A trick is to shock your Spinach ( Put it in hot water and in cold water), so that, it retains the green color and also gets soft, after, this they'll be easy to blend.

Also, Pineapple and Cucumber are a match made in heaven, which when used wisely can make a sweet and refreshing summer drink, which everyone will love. Pineapple is kind of the perfect companion to any Cucumber drinks and smoothies.

You can add some Watermelon chunks into this smoothie and make a nice Watermelon Cucumber Smoothie for yourself. Its just like this Watermelon, Cucumber & Feta Cheese Salad. Just like Cucumber, Watermelon is so rich in vitamins that it makes for the best summer smoothie recipes. Also, cool it down and make a popsicle for yourself 🙂

See, told ya! the possibilities are limitless.

So, that's how you quickly make a Cucumber Mint Smoothie with Flaxseeds.
