Bird's Nest Muffins are a fun treat you should be baking for Easter. When I made these Muffins, I was so excited. These Easter Muffins remind me of the Spring season. Also baking these bird's Nest Muffins is really easy and fun too.
Easter is just right around the corner. When I think of Spring and Easter season, I start thinking about making some cute desserts for y'all. Easter I think is the perfect occasion to bake off some cute looking desserts. Easter without desserts is just a day without fun. Today, I thought of sharing with y'all a wonderful and easy Easter Bird's Nest Muffins Recipe. After all, Easter is incomplete without Egg Nest Treats.

I have used M&Ms to make my eggs. You can also use Cadbury Eggs. I didn't find them so I could not use it. However, I think these will turn out even more gorgeous with those. You could also use Chocolate frosting to make Eggs in Muffins. It's really easy. You can just melt some white chocolate with some candy melts and beat it well. You'll have your desired color of Eggs in a jiffy.

You can also make Easter Egg Nest Cupcakes. The only difference between Cupcakes and Muffins is consistency. While Cupcakes are more of a smaller version for Cakes and are decadent and gooey. Muffins are more of a snack, which you can have on the go. Muffins too are moist and soft, but they are not Gooey. The Cupcake batter is cake-like and Muffin Batter is lumpy.

How to Make Easter Bird's Nest Muffins
To Make My Bird's Nest muffins, I first baked a batch of Double Chocolate Muffins. I have used Double Chocolate Muffins because they are dark and semi-sweet and balances out the sweetness of Cadbury and M&Ms. I do not like my Muffins to be too sweet. I think they should be semi-sweet. Only then it feels snacky and exciting.
After my Muffins were ready, I used a spoon to press the top. I did this while the muffins were still hot. This made it easier to form the hole.
After that, I used a bit of Chocolate Melt and applied it over the edges of the hole on top of the Muffin.
After that, I used crushed Golden Oreos to make the Nest. I just sprinkled it on top of the Muffins and they easily got stuck onto the Chocolate Melt. It was really easy to do. To make Egg Nest, you can also use slightly toasted Coconuts. Coconuts works wonderfully with chocolate and tastes great.
Finally, I just placed the M&Ms into the hole and it was done. You can also use Cadbury Eggs here.
This is a really easy and quick Easter treat you can make for your family. Kids will love this recipe. However, I think, if you're making for Kids, you can add a bit more of sugar as this has a taste that is quite like dark chocolate, which at least my kids don't seem to enjoy. However, overall, they loved the recipe because this really isn't that bittersweet. The flavor of Chocolate sauce with M&Ms and the Muffins makes this a quick dessert, that's not that decadent but is soo delicious.
Easter is a great time to bake these cute muffins. You can also bake it at other times of the year. If you are making Bird's Nest Cupcakes, then the only difference here would be in your Muffin batter. Your Cupcake Batter will be soft and gooey and will have kind of a cake-like consistency. While Muffin batter is generally lumpy. If you have the lumpy batter, your Muffins will rise up high and they will be moist and soft on the inside.
Another important tip while making these Bird's Nest Muffins is that you do not need to scoop out a hole on top of the Muffin. While you might think that scooping out a hole is important, it is not. You could just press the top of the Muffin slightly with a spoon so as to create a small dent, which can hold the Eggs ( M&Ms).
I just love these Muffins. I think they look so cute and gorgeous. When I first served these to my family everybody was surprised to see a new twist on regular Muffins. I am definitely going to make this for my Easter brunch.
So, enough about Egg Nest Muffins. So, if you liked this recipe, then you might want to note down the ingredients and recipe listed below. I think this is a really easy recipe and I'm sure you'll have loads of fun making these cute babies!
