This beautiful time of the year is all about dishing out cozy and comfy fall recipes which we all love to indulge and into and in fact, wait for it the whole long year! I love Pumpkin. The flavors, the Pumpkin Spice, and the Pumpkin desserts! Feels so good and so delicious!

The weather is getting cooler every day and its starting to feel so much like Fall already!
This Pumpkin Dump Cake is one of my Favourite Pumpkin Cake recipes. Although I love a good Pumpkin Coffee Cake or a Pumpkin Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting, this Dump cake is the best of all. One thing, it is so easy, and second - its practically just dumping ingredients to bake a perfect cake! The one thing which I am always looking for in my Thanksgiving desserts is that it should be easy and then it should be delicious.

This Pumpkin Dump Cake is so yummm! A fun and simple recipe which is so old fashioned but people seem to go crazy about it these days. Its the ease of this Pumpkin Dump Cake which makes it such a hugely popular recipe today.
What exactly is a "Dump" Cake?
Well, honestly, its exactly like you have imagined. A practically dump and go cake. A dump cake is using the Cake mix. So, all that hard work of mixing the Dr ingredients is gone! Second, its made in layers. The first layer is that of fruits. Here its Pumpkin. Pumpkin is combined with Evaporated Milk, Sugar, Eggs, and Pumpkin Spice to make a custard-like mixture and is poured on a baking dish. This is topped with Cake Mix and then with Butter. Finally, it is baked for about 50-60 minutes and it is done!
This Pumpkin Dump Cake is so good. It is the flavors of Pumpkin Puree and Pumpkin SPice which makes this super comforting, sweet, and super delicious.

I love to use a lot of Fall spices for my Pumpkin recipes - be it the Cinnamon and Nutmeg and Cloves and Star Anise. All of it brings a delicious flavor in this Dump Cake!
Making the Pumpkin Dump Cake
I bake a dump cake that is moist and soft on the inside and is crusty on the outside.
To have a delicious and satisfying Pumpkin flavor in my cake, I use store-bought canned Pumpkin Puree. One thing, it is very important that you never use the Pumpkin Pie mix. A Pie mix will give you a totally different flavor of cake which will not be worth it.
If you do not have access to canned pumpkin Puree, I suggest you use it the old way. Peel and chop the Pumpkin and then blend it into a smooth paste by adding some water. This is truly the best way to make Pumpkin Puree.
Then I combine my Pumpkin Puree with Evaporated Milk, Eggs, Brown Sugar and Pumpkin Spice. I mix it all up real good and pour it in a greased baking tray.
Then I simply top it with some Yellow Cake Mix and some Melted Butter and pop by Pumpkin Dump cake in the oven.

Waiting for this Dump cake to get baked is the longest thing to do. It takes nearly 50 minutes to an hour to bake this cake. But by the time it done, the house smells so wonderful and festive!
Finally, I cut out a big piece of this cake, top it with some cool whip or ice cream, drizzle some caramel sauce on top and I am all ready to dig in 😀
This Pumpkin Dump Cake is incredibly moist, sweetened and so flavorful. There is something about cozy Fall Pumpkin Cakes. It bakes out to perfection every time and I always seem to fall in love with it 🙂 🙂 🙂
This Pumpkin Dump Cake needs no frosting on top. If you find the cake to be a bit dry, you can use some cool whip or a dollop of ice cream on top. If you have neither at home, you could just drizzle some caramel on top and it'll be so worth it!

Since Thanksgiving is right around the corner, I highly recommend you include this Pumpkin Dump Cake in your menu. It's not only easy but it will save a tonne of time. Also, this is so so so delicious. I love every bite of this Easiest Pumpkin Dump Cake.
Also, there is nothing where you can go wrong in this recipe. Its just 3 simple steps and then you bake your Dump Cake. You cannot ever go wrong with this recipe.

This makes it perfect for Thanksgiving and you'll be sure to serve a delicious dessert to everyone and impress everyone 🙂
