How to make Salted Caramel Sauce at home?

You can, of course, melt Caramel bars which are easily found in the stores in your oven. However, if you wish to make your own Salted Caramel sauce, here's the recipe.
First, add the sugar to a Pan over a high flame. Keep stirring and allow the sugar to slowly change color.
The moment, it's starting to get brown from one side, add the water. Do not wait for the entire sugar to get brown as the trick with Caramel is you got to be pro-active. You got to think in advance.
When your Caramel looks Ambre, it's actually gonna get brown later when you get it in a glass jar or a white bowl. When your Caramel sauce looks brown in the pan, chances are it's got burnt already.
So, be careful with it. If you have a white Pan, it's the best because then you can see the actual color.

However, I suggest taking it off the flame when it's starting to get Amber colored because the heat already built up in the sugar will cook your Caramel sauce for some more time and it might get burnt in the process.
So, melt the sugar and add the water. Also, once it starts to bubble, add some butter and some vanilla extract.
Also, add some Sea Salt to it and stir until you get an amber colored viscous sauce ready. Take it off the heat and use immediately or else it'll crystalize.

Smoothen it on the top with your palm and spread to the edges. Now, Bake this for 15 minutes at 350 F or 180 C.
Meanwhile, we'll have to quickly make the last part of this recipe, which is the crumb or the streusel.

For this in a mixing bowl, take some old-fashioned rolled Oats, some flour, Coarse sugar, Baking Soda, and Cold butter cubes in a bowl. Mix it with your hands until you get a pea-sized crumbly mixture ready.
Finally, when your base is ready, take it out, top it with a layer of the Apple filling, followed by the Walnuts, and finally add a layer of Salted Caramel.
Top it with the Streusel and bake it at 400 F or 200 C for 30 minutes.
