Creamy Garlic Shrimp Pasta - Buttery Shrimp tossed in a creamy, garlicky sauce served with Parmesan Cheese over linguine pasta is a family favorite meal that you just can't say no to. When you have ingredients like Shrimp, Garlic, and Butter, the result HAS to be something that is beyond delicious.
Cook Pasta until al dente: In a pot of salted boiling water cook Linguine pasta as per package directions. Once done drain water and keep it in a colander.
Cook Shrimps: In a pan heat some Olive Oil. Add shrimps and cook for each side until pink and not fully cooked. Cook each side for just 30-seconds.
Add Garlic and Butter: Into this add minced garlic and butter. Season with Salt and Pepper as per taste.
Add Chicken Broth and Heavy Cream: Pour Chicken broth and heavy cream. Allow it to simmer gently on low heat. Stir occasionally. Taste the sauce. Adjust seasoning as your taste.
Add Cooked pasta and Parmesan: Now add Cooked Pasta and Grated Parmesan Cheese. Stir well to combine. Take it off the heat.
Garnish and Serve: Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and red pepper flakes. Serve right away.

Do not bring the sauce to a boil as it might curdle.
If using Half and Half or Milk do not add Lemon. It will definitely curdle.
Do not overcook your shrimps. Just cook each side for 30-seconds.
You can also add spinach after you've added your butter and garlic.
The key to making the best Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta lies in the choice of your pasta. Ideally Linguine or Fettuccine works the best as it soaks in all the rich creamy garlicky flavours.
To enhance the creaminess use a dollop of Cream Cheese or Mascarpone
To make it even more garlicky use Garlic Confit or use roasted Garlic.
Serve with freshly grated Parmesan on top.
