These Shrimps are seasoned with my homemade Taco seasoning so they are extra spicy, juicy and super delicious.
I have cooked them first and then topped them over Cucumber slices, along with Avocados.

- Shrimps
- Avocado Oil
- Taco Seasoning
- Cucumber
- Avocados
- Lime Juice

How to make Shrimp Appetizer Cucumber Avocado Bites
STEP BY STEP GUIDE
STEP 1: COOK THE SHRIMPS
- Heat a medium sized skillet over medium high heat. Add Avocado Oil in the skillet. As the oil shimmers, add the Shrimps. Top with Taco Seasoning. Toss to combine.
- Arrange the Shrimps in the skillet in a single layer.
- Cook them for 3 minutes over medium high heat, toss and cook the other side for 2 more minutes.
- Once cooked, remove the Shrimps from the skillet and keep aside.

STEP 2: MAKE AVOCADO MASH
- Cut the Avocado in half and remove the seed.
- Scoop out the Avocado in a large mixing bowl
- Squeeze Lime Juice and throw in some freshly chopped Cilantro
- Toss to combine everything using two forks, until creamy.

STEP 3: TOP OVER CUCUMBER
- Peel the Cucumber and chop it into 1" discs
- Top with the Avocado Mash
- Top with the cooked Shrimps.
- Serve.

Remember: Shrimps Cook really fast. So make sure you do not overcook the Shrimps. Just 2-3 minutes each side is enough to cook the Shrimps.
Hint: I like to make the Avocado Mash and cook the Shrimps ahead of time. That way, I just assemble these Shrimp Appetizers, right before serving. It saves so much time.

Can I use any other Seasonings?
Yes of course! You can use any seasoning you love.

Can I cook the Shrimps in Air Fryer?
Yes, of course. Cooking the Shrimps in Air Fryer will take some time, but you will be able to make large batches in once, and also, the Shrimps will turn out to be extra crispy.
Just toss the Shrimps with Avocado Oil & Taco Seasoning or any other seasoning you are using.
Arrange them in a single layer in the Air Fryer and cook for 10 minutes @380°F.
How to make these Shrimp Appetizers ahead of time?
I always make these Shrimp Cucumber Avocado Bites, ahead of time.
I love to make the Avocado Mash ahead of time. It stays fresh in the refrigerator for up to a week.
Also you can cook the Shrimps ahead of time and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. You can reheat cooked Shrimps in the Air Fryer or in the oven. Microwave them until heated through.
Making these Shrimp Cucumber bites, ahead of time, saves a lot of time. Its just perfect for parties.
Tips to make these Shrimp Appetizers with Cucumber and Avocado
- Season the Shrimps generously with an seasoning of your choice.
- Do not overcook the Shrimp
- Shrimps should take just 2-3 minutes, each side to get cooked.
- Make sure you are using fresh Avocado and Cucumber
- Cut the Cucumber into 1" dices.
- You can use store bought or homemade Guacamole as well to top over the Cucumbers.
- Chop the Avocado, remove the seed, and scoop it out.
- Mash the Avocado along with chopped Cilantro and Lime Juice, using two forks.

Shrimp Cucumber Avocado Bites
INGREDIENTS
- 1 lbs Shrimps peeled and deveined
- 1 large Avocado de-seeded and scooped out
- 1 tablespoon Lime Juice juice of about 1 medium sized Lime
- 1 tablespoon Taco Seasoning
- 1 tablespoon Avocado Oil or any other non flavoring oil
- 2 medium sized Cucumbers peeled and chopped to 1" dices
INSTRUCTIONS
- Heat a medium sized Skillet over medium high heat. Drizzle Avocado Oil in it. As the oil shimmers, add the Shrimps. Sprinkle the Taco Seasoning over the Shrimps. Toss to combine everything. Arrange the Shrimps in a single layer in the skillet and cook them for 3 minutes. After that, toss and cook the other side for 2 more minutes. Once cooked, remove from the skillet and keep aside.
- Cut the Avocado in half. Remove the seed using the edge of your knife. Now, scoop out the Pulp in a large mixing bowl. Squeeze Lime Juice and throw in the freshly chopped Cilantro. Give it all a good mix using two forks. Mix until the mixture gets creamy.
- Peel and chop the Cucumber into 1" dices. Top the Avocado Mash over the Cucumber. Top with the Shrimps and serve.
