But, today was my first rendezvous with Lemon Parmesan. I decided to take the creamy chicken alfredo recipe to a whole new level.
And, man oh man! Was it good? It was incredible. It was beyond my imagination. Crispy golden Seared Chicken with a lemony, zesty, Creamy, and fresh Alfredo Sauce and Fettuccine pasta is a quick easy comfort food dinner recipe that you are bound to fall in love with.
🍜Ingredients
For Pasta
- Fettuccine Pasta:
- Water & Salt to cook Pasta
For Chicken
- Chicken Breasts
- Oil to coat chicken
- Flour
- Salt and pepper
- Canola Oil
For Lemon Alfredo Sauce
- Unsalted Butter
- Flour
- Garlic
- Salt and Pepper
- Heavy Cream
- Dijon Mustard
- Chicken Broth or (you can use Dry White Wine)
- Lemon Juice
- Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
- Fresh Parsley chopped (as per taste)

🔪How to Make Lemon Parmesan Chicken Alfredo?

- Sear Chicken Breasts in hot oil after dredging them through a mixture of flour, Salt, and Pepper. Once they are golden brown on both sides, take them off the heat. You can cut chicken in small chunks and then sear it in the pan.
- Make Alfredo Sauce: First, make a roux by combining butter and flour. As the mixture turns fragrant, add in minced garlic, Heavy Cream, salt, and pepper. Finally, add in some Dijon Mustard and some Chicken Broth. Give it a good Stir. Finally, add in some freshly grated Parmesan and Squeeze lemon juice. Stir well. Once the sauce starts to bubble add crispy golden Chicken Chunks and cooked Fettuccine pasta in the sauce. Let it simmer for a minute and take it off the heat.
- Garnish and Serve: Garnish with some freshly chopped cilantro and serve right away.
Alfredo Sauce:

Wondering how to make Alfredo sauce? Well, making it simply couldn't be any easier. This rich, creamy, and indulging recipe gets done in just minutes and is so comforting. I know you are searching for an alfredo sauce recipe without heavy cream. Well, this recipe is just that.
- Heat a pan over medium-high and add flour and butter at the same time. Stir lightly until the flour smells good and looks light golden brown. Do not all it to turn dark brown.
- Add minced garlic and stir well until the garlic smells good. This takes at least 60-seconds or 1-minute on medium-high heat.
- Now pour Heavy Cream. Don't use milk or Half and Half as it will cuddle with lemon juice.
- Now, add in Italian Seasoning, Salt, and Pepper. Stir lightly and take it off the heat.
- Finally, add in some grated parmesan cheese. Bring it back to heat and stir until the cheese melts.
So, that's how you make Alfredo sauce from scratch.

Lemon Parmesan Chicken Alfredo
INGREDIENTS
For Pasta
- 8 Ounces Uncooked Fettuccine Pasta
- Water & Salt to cook Pasta
For Chicken
- 2 Large Chicken Breasts approx 16 ounces (Cut into small bite-size chunks)
- Oil to coat chicken
- Flour as per your requirement to dredge chicken
- Salt and pepper as per your requirement to season chicken
- Canola Oil to Sear Chicken
For Lemon Alfredo Sauce
- 1 Stick unsalted butter
- 3-4 Tablespoons Flour
- 7-8 Cloves Garlic minced
- Salt and Pepper As per Taste
- 1 Cup Heavy Cream
- 1 Teaspoon Dijon Mustard
- ¼ Cup Chicken Broth or (you can use Dry White Wine)
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
- ½ Cup Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
- Fresh Parsley chopped (as per taste)
INSTRUCTIONS
Cook Fettuccine Pasta
- Cook Fettuccine Pasta: Heat a pot of water over medium-high heat. As the water comes to a boil, add Fettuccine pasta and some salt. Cook as per package directions.
- Dredge Chicken: Coat Chicken in Oil, Salt, and Pepper. Dredge each chicken chunk in flour.
- Sear Chicken: Heat oil in a pan. You can also use some butter with oil for a rich taste. As the oil shimmers, add chicken chunks and sear both sides until crispy and golden brown. Once done, take them out of the pan and place them on a paper towel.
- Make Alfredo Sauce: In a pan add butter and flour. Stir lightly on medium-low heat until the flour smells good but doesn't turn dark brown. Add minced garlic and stir well until the garlic smells good about 1-minute.Now add heavy cream, Salt, and pepper. Stir well until combined.Add in Dijon Mustard and Chicken Broth to the pan. Stir well until combined. Take it off the heat. Finally, add in some grated Parmesan Cheese and squeeze lemon juice. Stir well until the cheese melts.
- Now add in Crispy golden Chicken Chunks and Fettuccine pasta. Stir well and serve with some freshly chopped parsley.
