How to Bake Chicken Breasts in the Oven
Baking chicken breasts in the oven is a breeze. All you need is some thick and juicy Chicken Breasts. Cut them in half so that you have thin slices of Chicken Breast. Cutting the Breasts in half, lengthwise will make them thinner and they will end up cooking quickly.
Now, just season the Chicken Breasts with salt, pepper, and some grated garlic, olive oil, and Italian seasoning. Place them in the baking dish along with grape tomatoes and red onions around it.
Just one quick tip here - Always use a good quality Olive oil for anything Balsamic. Because only good quality Olive oil will bring out the flavors of Italian seasoning and Balsamic vinegar.
Coming down to making the Honey Balsamic Sauce: In a mixing jar combine Balsamic Vinegar, Honey, Grated Garlic, and Brown Sugar. Give it all a quick mix and pour this over the seasoned Chicken Breasts.
Bake the Chicken Breasts - Bake the Honey Balsamic Chicken Breasts at 430F | 220C for 25-30 minutes. The cooking time of the chicken greatly depends on the thickness of the Chicken Breasts. However, in general, an average thick Chicken Breast cooks in 25 minutes to perfection. Chicken Breasts cook pretty quickly.
Add the Mozzarella Cheese - I have used pre-shredded mozzarella Cheese to top the Chicken Breasts. Just sprinkle them over the Chicken breasts and broil for 4-5 minutes.
Finally, serve this Honey balsamic Baked Chicken Breast with some chopped parsley on top.
What to serve Baked Chicken Breasts with?
I like to serve these Honey Balsamic Baked Chicken Breasts with rice. There is so much tomato juice that gets released after the Tomato gets cooked and it's so flavorful, that this feels perfect to be served with a hearty bowl of rice.
