Turmeric lemon honey drink benefits
Yogurt - For that creamy texture in my smoothie I have decided to add yogurt. I do not recommend skipping this or replacing this with heavy cream or etc. Cream would make it unhealthy and we are making a healthy smoothie today. So, Let's keep cream out of the picture.
Lemon Juice - Freshly squeezed lemon juice has that zesty freshness that will create some refreshing element in my smoothie. Moreover, it will add some vitamin C to my smoothie.
Honey - Since we are adding so much sour element a little sweetness will make it taste good. Furthermore, it will please our tastebuds to taste something sweet and sour. Besides that, honey is extremely healthy for our body. It helps in sore throat and improves cough and cold.
Turmeric - Turmeric is rich in curcumin which makes it have anti-inflammatory properties. It also has so much anti-oxidant that helps you boost your immunity and flush out toxins.
Ginger - Ginger is another healthy ingredient that will help you from cold and relieve you from sore throat and joint pains.
Mint - I have added mint as a final topping just to increase the freshness and taste of this smoothie.
So, now you have soo many reasons to make this healthy Honey Lemon Turmeric Smoothie at home.
