Easy and Super Cute Halloween Mummy Hand Pies are the perfect dessert come appetizer which everyone will love for sure. These spooky and cute Mummy Hand Pies are the perfect Halloween Treats for kids.

I love baking for Halloween. Its one of those times of the year when I love to put my creative hat on and get into the kitchen and get baking. I love baking cute and fun treats for my friends and family for Halloween and its so much fun.
This year i decided on making these Mummy Hand Pies. Ofcourse I took the idea from so many viral pinterest recipes. But this one is surely original.
Unlike other pies or Mummy pizza bites this one is super easy and is kind of like a dessert. It had a sugar cookie pastry dough, topped with cookie pastry sheets and filled with sweet strawberry jam. I simply top them with candy eyes after they get baked and they look spooktacular.

How to make Halloween Mummy Hand Pies
Making this Mummy Hand Pie is just so easy. I use my homemade cookie dough to make these. You can use sweetened or unsweetened crescent roll pastry sheets as well. That will save you a lot of time and is perfect if you're planning to make this on the last minute.
Step 1: Combine everything to make cookie dough. Roll it into 1/4 inch thickenss
Step 2: Use a round cookie cutter to cut circles. Use the leftover dough to cut into thin 1/4 inch thickness strips
Step 3: Add the cookies to a lined dish. Top with Strawberry Jam and leftover strips to resemble bandages.
Step 4: Bake @350F or 180C for 10 min
Step 5: Top with candy eyes and serve!

Variations
- Crescent Roll - instead of making a cookie dough, you can use crescent roll sheets. That will save you a lot of time.
- Savory - you can use marinara sauce to make a savory version of these rolls.
CanI make these ahead of time?
Yes defiantly! You can make the dough in advance and store it in the refrigerator for upto a week. Roll it and add the toppings and bake it right before you want to serve.
