Hey friends! This beautiful and merry time of the year with snow all around is the perfect time to make Truffles in the kitchen. The holiday season for me is all about baking sugar cookies and loads of Truffles. Have you tried my Peppermint Cheesecake Oreo Truffles yet?
To make these sugar cookie truffles I have actually used my Snowball Cookies. I have made a crumb of these sugary-sweet cookies and then combined it with the cream cheese. You could use Sugar Cookies as well. I recently made these Snowball Cookies and wanted to use them up so, I used them.

The snowy days call for some festive and warm desserts. Thinking of desserts for Christmas, Truffles are the first thing that comes to my mind. These are so easy to make and just perfect for the holidays. In my home, these truffles last hardly a day, but still, it's the holidays after all!
Ingredients used to make Christmas Sugar Cookie Truffles
- 10 Sugar Cookies (preferably store-bought or a day old homemade sugar cookies)
- 1 tablespoon Cream Cheese (2.02 oz or 14.1gm)
- 1 cup White Melting Wafers
- Sprinklers (optional)
How to make the perfect Christmas Sugar Cookie Truffles?
- Make Sugar Cookie Crumbs. I like to use store-bought Pepperidge farm sugar cookies for this recipe. I do not recommend you to use freshly baked sugar cookies. As when you pulse those, you won't be able to get crumbs. If you have to use homemade sugar cookies for this recipe, use at least a day old sugar cookies or snowball cookies.

- Next, combine the Sugar Cookie crumbs with cream cheese.

- Take 1 teaspoon of the mixture and make small balls.

- Place these in a separate dish. Freeze for 30 minutes.

- Meanwhile, melt the Melting Wafers or Vanilla Almond Bark in the oven at 30-second bursts.
- Stir in between each burst.
- If it's not melting properly you can add a few drops of coconut oil and then melt it.

- As the Sugar Cookie truffles rest in the freezer and harden up, get them out, Dip them in the melted chocolate, just until coated, tap the spoon at the edge of the plate to drip of the excess. Place it carefully on a separate dish.

- Top with sprinkles.

After you've coated the Sugar Cookie Truffles with white chocolate, you do not need to put it back in the freezer. White chocolate sets pretty quickly and even at room temperature.
However, sometimes it doesn't tend to set, because of the humidity or the brand of the chocolate.
For those times, you might want to re-freeze these Sugar Cookie Truffles for 5 more minutes or until the chocolate sets over the Truffles.
After making the Sugar Cookie Truffles, refrigerate them until you serve. This will prevent them from melting.
