P.F Chang's Lettuce Wraps is one of the my favorite dishes. Whenever I go or cross by P.F Chang's I make it a point to get some Lettuce Wraps for the drive home.

But the only thing that bugs me about takeout Lettuce Wraps is one of those heavy sweet sauces like Hoisin Sauce, which they use to make it flavorful.

Agreed, it does taste excellent. But its unhealthy obviously. And since I'm on a low carb diet, I have to kill my cravings more often than not!

So why bother about takeout food when you can fakeout at home!

Yes! And make it Vegan and Plant Based. Because Protein Power is everything! right!

So today out of nowhere came this idea of making a healthy Quinoa recipe in the form of Lettuce Wraps!

How to cook Quinoa?

Quinoa can be cooked very easily. Here's a detail description of how to cook Quinoa.

Generally Quinoa is cooked just like rice. You first rinse the Quinoa and then cook it with some water and salt in a dutch pot or a closed lid skillet.

The ratio for Quinoa to water is 1:2, just like you cook rice.

As the Quinoa absorbs all the water your Quinoa is ready to eat.

You can cook Quinoa overnight by soaking it in a closed lid mason jar.

OR Bake it in the oven with water @350F for 10 min

OR you can even cook Quinoa in the Instant Pot for 5 min, release the steam and enjoy!

PRO TIP: To make Quinoa even more flavorful, cook it with Vegetable or Chicken Broth.

All the flavors of the broth gets soaked in by the Quinoa and you're left with something so delicious Quinoa which you can enjoy as is.

You can even cook Quinoa with Coconut Milk to make it even more flavorful.

Wrap them up really tightly using a plastic wrap or store in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 2 DAYS.
