INSTRUCTIONS
Whip the Butter: Place the fully softened butter into a medium serving bowl. Use an electric handheld mixer on medium high speed to beat the butter for 3 to 4 minutes. Stop when the butter becomes pale white, light, and airy.
Add Flavorings: Turn off the mixer. Add the grated garlic, chopped sun dried tomatoes, grated parmesan, chopped basil, chopped thyme, and kosher salt directly into the bowl.
Combine: Turn the mixer to a low speed setting. Blend the ingredients for about 30 seconds just until everything is evenly distributed. Do not overmix.
Chill: Use a rubber spatula to scrape down the sides of the bowl. Cover the bowl tightly with plastic cling wrap and place it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
Serve: Remove the butter from the refrigerator 10 minutes before serving so it softens slightly. Spread over warm sourdough bread, crackers, or use it to top grilled meats and vegetables.
Notes
Keep leftovers in an airtight glass container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.Freezing: Roll the butter into a log shape using parchment paper, twist the ends to seal, and store in a freezer bag for up to 2 months. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight before serving.Salt Variation: If you only have salted butter on hand, omit the kosher salt entirely from the ingredient list and adjust to taste at the very end.
