Vegan Chickpea Meatballs are healthy Vegan Meatballs which are gluten free and absolutely healthy and delicious. These Chickpea Balls are easy to make are are such a delicious Vegan dinner recipe.
In the food processor combine all the Meatballs ingredients and pulse until smooth.
Lightly flour your hands and roll the mixture into meatballs.
Heat olive oil in a pan. As the oil shimmers, sear the Meatballs until golden brown.
Transfer the Meatballs to a greased Baking dish. Bake @375F or 190C for 30-33 minutes
Heat Coconut Oil in a Pan. As the oil shimmers, pour in the Tomato Puree. Also, throw in the minced Garlic. Season the sauce with Salt, Paprika, Ground Cumin & Ground Coriander. Also pour in Ketchup and throw in some Coconut Sugar. Now, stir to combine everything. Simmer on low heat until it all gets combined and starts to reduce. If it gets too thick, pour in some water or Vegetable broth and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minites over low heat.
Serve these Vegan Chickpea Meatballs over the Tomato Sauce. Garnish with chopped Cilantro and serve.

If your Meatballs mixture is too wet, add some more rolled oats or Oats flour or Almond Flour
This recipe calls for canned Chickpeas. If you are using fresh Chickpeas, then soak them in water overnight and then boil them, drain, and rinse them before use.
The Sauce is totally optional. You could just make these Vegan Chickpea Meatballs and serve them as appetizers or within some Subs and some Salad.
