First, wrap your Tofu in a clean paper towel and weigh it down with two dishes. You can also place something heavier, such as canned food over the top plate. Keep it like this for at least 15 minutes, so that the Tofu loses its moisture.
Now, take out the tofu and cut them into 1 inch cubes.
Sprinkle cornstarch over your Tofu and coat them evenly.
Heat oil in a Pan or large Skillet and over medium flame add the dusted Tofus.
Cook them until they form a light golden crust from all sides. It should take about 3-4 minutes for the mentioned quantiy of Tofu. However the shapes and sizes might vary the amount of time it actually takes to golden the Tofus.
Meanwhile, make the sauce for your Chinese Broccoli Tofu Stir Fry
Take a clean bowl and add Soy sauce + some water + Sesame Oil + Rice Vinegar + Sriracha + Honey & Asian Ginger Garlic Paste ( you can alter this with minced garlic and grated ginger). Give it all a quick stir and then add some Cornstarch as well. Stir until the Cornstarch is well mixed inot the sauce.
Turn off the flame when you feel that they have been fried evenly.
Let them stay in the hot oil, if you feel that they need more of that beautiful golden crust.
Take out your Tofus and keep them aside
In the same pan, add some butter and allow it to get frothy over medium flame.
Take out the frozen broccoli and throw them in the skillet.
Toss it nicely for just a minute and let the Butter and oil cook your Broccolis over a high flame
Finally add the sauce into the skillet.
Stir it all well.
Now allow it to sizzle for 1 minute over high flame.
Now add the Tofus and stir well. Do it carefully so that the Tofus do not break.
Keep this in medium heat for a minute so that the Tofus get soaked in this delicious sauce and become even more delicious.
Season it with Salt, Basil, Black Pepper Powder & Red Chilli Flakes
Finally top it with toasted Sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
