INSTRUCTIONS
Cut the Tofu into cubes.
Coat the Tofu pieces with cornstarch and oil
To make the sauce in a separate bowl, make a mixture of Rice Vinegar, Soy Sauce, Sriracha, and Honey. Whisk and set aside.
Heat sesame oil in a wok. As the oil shimmers, add the tofu and cook them over medium-high heat for 3-4 min until it gets crispy and golden brown on all sides. Remove and set aside.
Once the Tofu gets golden and crispy, transfer them into a separate bowl. I wanted my Tofu to be crispy, so I didn't alter them. However, if you like soft Tofu, you can place the fried Tofu into a bowl full of ice-cold water for a minute or two, stir well and then drain the water. It'll remove the excess oil and also make your Tofu soft.
Now, in the same wok, add some Butter.
And while the Butter is cold, add minced garlic. ( I add garlic in cold butter as. That way, the butter gets flavored with garlic. Putting your garlic in hot butter will quickly burn the garlic and all the flavors will be gone.)
After a minute, please turn on the heat and allow it to cook over medium-high heat until the butter starts frothing.
Now, once the butter starts frothing, add the fried Tofu in it and stir well over high heat for a minute.
Add in the chopped Bell Peppers and stir well over high heat for a minute. Pour the sauce and toss to combine. Stir well and cook over high heat for 2 minutes.
Season it with some Salt and freshly grounded pepper as per your taste.
Finally dish it out. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. serve
Serve it with Basmati Rice or a bowl of Ramen.
