INSTRUCTIONS
Heat 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil in a cast-iron skillet. Add the Mushrooms. Keep the flame on medium-high and saute the mushrooms until they get caramelized. The moisture from the Mushrooms will evaporate and the Mushrooms will turn golden brown in color (about 2-3 min)
Add the chopped garlic, Sriracha and Balsamic vinegar. Mix well and allow to sizzle over Medium high flame. The sauce will thicken and reduce after 2-3 minutes. Stir occasionally so the sauce doesn't get burned. Now add the Brown Sugar and mix well.
Finally, add the dark soy sauce. Simmer for 2 more minutes and then stir and take it off the heat. Taste it to check if it needs any salt. I have skipped salt because Soy Sauce is naturally salty. However, if you need salt or ground black pepper to season this, you can add them at this point and then serve it. Take a different pan and toast the sesame seeds over a low flame until they release a nutty aroma.
Serve the Balsamic Sriracha Glazed Mushrooms. Garnish with Chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds. Enjoy!
