Cook extra lean ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook until you see the fat oozing out from the sides.
Sauté onions and bell peppers along with the meat. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until the meat is cooked through and the veggies have softened.Tip: if you use fresh chopped garlic, you'd want to sauté them right after the veggies have softened for 30-45 seconds.
