Brownies are the best Halloween Treats. And these Spooky Halloween Monster Eyes Brownies are a perfect sweet treat for Halloween which the kids will love. These Brownies are so easy to make that you could even get the kids to make these with a delicious topping and decoration of their choice.
2sticksUnsalted Buttermelted and brought to room temp.
8ozDark Chocolateat room temp (I use Ghirardelli)
1cupDark Brown Sugar
1¼cupAll Purpose Flouruse gluten free baking flour for GF Version
1teaspoonPure Vanilla Extract
¼teaspoonKosher Salt
2LargeEggs
½cupUnsweetened Cocoa Powder
½teaspoonBaking Powder
Candy Eyeballsfor decorating
Orange & Black Sprinklers for decorating

INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the oven to 350 F or 180C. Line a 9x9 inch baking dish with Parchment paper with about 2-inches sides hanging out.
Combine Dark Chocolate with Melted Butter and microwave on full power for 3- seconds. Whisk continuously until the chocolate melts and combines with the butter and gets smooth and silky. Save about 1/2 cup of this melted chocolate in a separate bowl.
Combine the remaining melted dark chocolate with Brown Sugar, Cocoa Powder, Eggs, Vanilla Extract, and Kosher Salt. Fold using a rubber spatula until combined.
Sieve the flour and baking powder. Fold until combined. Transfer the brownie batter to the prepared lined baking dish. Smooth the top with a spatula.
Bake for 30 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.
After the brownies get baked, allow them to cool down to room temp. for 10 minutes.
Cut into even sized squares. Dip the brownies in melted chocolate and keep on a wire rack kept over a parchment paper. Decorate the brownies with candy eyeballs and colorful Halloween Sprinklers and serve.
