Smoked Sausage with Rice - Instant Pot / Slow Cooker
Smoked Sausage with Rice in the Instant Pot or Slow Cooker makes for a perfect one-pot dinner recipe. This is easy to make and kid-friendly dinner recipe that gets ready very quickly.
114ozKielbasa Smoked Sausage (Polish sausages)chopped into 1-inch slices
2cupsLong Grain Basmati Ricewashed and drained
4cupsBeef Brothlow sodium
1teaspoonSalt & Pepperor as per taste
1teaspoonSmoked Paprika
Freshly chopped Parsleyfor garnish

INSTRUCTIONS
Put pressure cooker on sauté mode. Heat olive oil and Butter. As the butter shimmers, add the diced onions and finely minced garlic cloves. Sauté for 2-3 minutes or until they get fragrant.
Add chopped sausages to the pot. Cook until the sausages turn lightly brown. Add Salt, Pepper, and Smoked Paprika. Toss to combine. Add beaten egg and stir until scrambled.
Turn off the instant Pot. Pour the beef Broth. Deglaze the inner pot with a wooden spatula or silicone spatula. Remove any pieces stuck to the bottom of the inner pot. Add washed and drained Rice. Do not stir this will break your rice. Just push it down with a spatula until it sinks into the liquid. Cover with the lid and pressure cook on high for 8 minutes. Allow pressure to release naturally for 3 minutes or until the instant pot shows - "L0:03", Then remove the remaining steam by performing a quick release
Garnish with freshly chopped Parsley and serve

Slow Cooker Method
After you've sauteed the ingredients, transfer to the slow cooker
Pour Chicken Broth over it and cover with the lid
Slow cook on high for 2 hours or on low for 4 hours.
