Christmas Crumb Cake Recipe is a classic Christmas Cake recipe that you can make in no time. And, every single bite of this cake feels absolutely heavenly.
Preheat Oven to 350F OR 180C and grease a 9x9 inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.In a medium-sized mixing bowl combine Graham Cracker Crumbs, Melted Unsalted Butter, All-Purpose Flour, and Brown Sugar. Place it in a 9x9 inch greased baking dish. Bake the base for 10-minutes and then let it cool down completely.
In another medium-sized mixing bowl combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, ground nutmeg, and ground cinnamon using a wired balloon whisk.
In the same bowl add melted butter, granulated sugar, chopped almonds, vanilla extract, sweetened condensed milk, Christmas nonpareils, Orange Juice, Orange Zest, Cardamom Seeds, Chopped Pistachios, and Dried Cranberries. Mix well using a silicone spatula or a wooden spatula.
Pour the cake mixture into the prebaked crust. Smoothen the top using a silicone spatula. Keep it aside. In the Meantime Preheat oven to 350F or 180C
In a medium-sized mixing bowl combine brown sugar, All-Purpose Flour, Ground Cinnamon, Grated Nutmeg, and Cold Butter. Mix the crumb with your hands until the flour gets coarse and mealy. Sprinkle it over cake batter.Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 350F for 30-minutes or until a toothpick inserted at the center of the cake comes out with few moist crumbs. Garnish with some Christmas Nonpareils and orange zest.
